{"id":792,"date":"2013-08-24T16:18:56","date_gmt":"2013-08-24T15:18:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.willbeck.com\/artblog\/?p=792"},"modified":"2015-09-15T11:38:45","modified_gmt":"2015-09-15T10:38:45","slug":"thulhid-assassin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.willbeck.com\/artblog\/2013\/08\/thulhid-assassin\/","title":{"rendered":"Thulhid Assassin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is an idea I had a while back after seeing the mimic octopus on a nature documentary (<a title=\"Mimic octopus \" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mimic_octopus\" target=\"_blank\"> http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mimic_octopus<\/a> ) for an experimental terror of the Sunken World &#8211; a shape-changing Thulhid assassin. These creatures are fortunately few in number; the product of the Thulhid scientists experimenting on their own kind. <\/p>\n<p>Once an assassin has slain a human (or humanoid) and consumed their flesh it can change its form to be an identical copy of the unfortunate victim.
